Property Purchased

In August of 2023, NBC closed on 12 acres of property across the street from the Trade Community Center! We are actively seeking God's guidance as we begin planning for a church building and campus that will be our permanent home. Paid In Full

Congregation Survey

January 28, 2024 the building committee distributed surveys seeking input from the church congregation. Results will be used to establish a building plan and estimated cost that will be within our budget.

Initial Rough Draft Floorplan

March 31, 2024 the congregation was presented a rough first draft of the floor plan and a rendering of what the building might look like. The congregation will vote on the building committee's recommendations in coming weeks!

Building Committee Formed

Vision

The vision of the building committee is to have a facility that is “mission minded”. Each member expressed that they did not want to see a facility that was only a “place to meet” on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, but rather be a facility that is welcoming, provides opportunities to reach lost people, and is designed for multipurpose use now and in future church outreach programs.

Survey Review

February 10, 2024 the building committee met and reviewed the construction surveys. Floor plan sketch, inspections, and building companies are being contacted to beginning preliminary design.

Road, Sewer, and Well

Preliminary cost estimates for the construction of an access road, installation of drain field, and the drilling of a well has begun. Septic permit forms have been submitted to the State of Tennessee by the trustees and we are now waiting on a soil analysis. Once the septic system has been permitted , we will be able to move forward more aggressively in building our new church building.
